Sarah Shelin

Hi, I’m Sarah. I’m a Master of Counselling student completing my internship. I feel honoured to walk alongside people as they navigate life’s challenges, and my hope is to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and cared for.My gentle and collaborative approach is guided by curiosity. I use an integrative, person-centred approach, drawing on family systems and attachment perspectives, narrative therapy, solution-focused practices, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and trauma-informed care. I help clients explore their unique strengths, values, and stories to foster growth, healing, and meaningful change. With over ten years of experience supporting children and families, including those with neurodiversity, I enjoy working with clients from diverse backgrounds. I have a personal understanding of navigating identity and finding a sense of belonging. I enjoy supporting people through life transitions, relationships, stress, anxiety, and exploring identity.Outside of counselling, I love spending time in nature, staying active, and connecting with the people who matter most to me.I look forward to meeting you and working together in ways that feel supportive and meaningful for your journey.
