Lead Therapeutic Counsellor, Duncan

Katarzyna (Kaska) Wierzbinska grew up in Poland and England before moving to Vancouver Island in 2013. She has joined Island Community Counselling as our Lead Therapeutic Counsellor in our Duncan office.

Kaska is interested in the diversity of human experience, how we grow, learn and experience the world and people around us and what shapes us to be who we are. She is deeply passionate about working with children, youth, and their families, and she loves to see the people that she works with grow, flourish, and achieve their full potential. In 2018 she began her journey with the therapeutic powers of play therapy, recognizing how play and expressive modalities can be a common ground for not only children, but people of all ages to connect with their own healing power.
