Heather Arnold is a teacher who is completing a Masters in Counselling Psychology.
Heather has found that her students need more than merely learning the curriculum; they need opportunities to work on their social-emotional learning. She has felt the pull to become a counsellor ever since. She has worked in high schools as a Math and English teacher and recently gained experience as a school counsellor working with adolescents for a range of needs including anxiety, depression, bullying, etc.
Heather will be working with individuals of all ages who are experiencing different challenges in their lives. She believes each person is unique and therefore deserves an individualized approach to therapy. Using cognitive behaviour therapy, solution-focused therapy, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy and more,
Heather strives to support individuals during challenging times to foster growth, self-reflection, and change.
In her spare time, Heather enjoys spending time outside, hiking or running with her pup, reading, knitting, and connecting with family and friends.
