I am a practicum counsellor at Island Community Counselling. I understand that it can be difficult to reach out for help, especially if you are in a vulnerable place. I’m here to support you in your healing journey and provide a safe space to hold difficult and overwhelming emotions and memories without judgement. My approach is compassionate, trauma focused, and client-centered, using evidence-based therapies such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness.
